“There’s never been any violation like this,” Trump said. “I’ve been violated beyond belief. And that’s because of political — it’s really a political persecution. Everybody knows it, and there’s never been anything like it.”

“Unfortunately, there haven’t been repercussions because people haven’t taken it up,” he continued.

“You need courageous people in this country, and people haven’t taken it up,” he added. “What’s taken place here, very few countries but certainly our country has never seen anything like this before. And it continues with the boxes hoax. It continues with Atlanta on a perfect absolutely perfect phone call.”

Trump’s comments come days after government officials said they had proof the former president knew documents found at Mar-a-Lago were classified.

The 2024 GOP front-runner also touched on abortion, heavily emphasizing his role in overturning Roe. He didn’t comment directly on what position he would take toward abortion if he were to take office again, instead stressing that the overturning of Roe allowed for the anti-abortion movement to negotiate, whereas before, it was unable to.

Trump also vehemently condemned late-term abortion, which he said was always on the table before the Supreme Court decision.
