Left-wing actress on 'The View' says she sees no difference 'between our Christian Right and the Taliban.' Observers educate her.

Left-wing actress Patti LuPone appeared on "The View" Tuesday and said she sees no difference "between our Christian Right and the Taliban."

What are the details?

Fox News said LuPone made her declaration in response to a question from far-left co-host Ana Navarro about Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the LGBTQ community.

"These are human beings, and I could cry. They're not harming anybody," she told the other women at the table, some of whom agreed, softly whispering "no."

"I've said this before, and I’m gonna get in trouble," LuPone continued, before sharply adding: "I don’t know what the difference between our Christian right and the Taliban is! I have no idea what the difference is."

Far-left co-host Whoopi Goldberg not surprisingly replied, "You're not the only person who's said that, I have to say."

LuPone added that "what's happening in this country right now in the name of religion is so dangerous" and that the United States no longer looks like America to her.

"It’s not America," she said. "When I was growing up, I didn’t know America was an experiment. They never said America was an experiment when we were growing up. It was a democracy. And now it’s in such danger. It’s so upsetting. It’s so upsetting. And it's upsetting to hear the loudest voices and not any kind of pushback to the loudest voices that are the extremity in this country."

Yet another far-left co-host, Sunny Hostin, with compassion touched LuPone's arm and told the actress, "That's why we need people like you."

Oh, really?

As you can imagine, more than a few folks on Twitter were happy to push back on LuPone's comparison between the Christian right and the Taliban:

  • Conservative commentator Jason Rantz wrote that LuPone is "noted for her ability to make people uncomfortable for her diva outbursts on stage" and added "imagine the outrage if she said that about any other religion. But remember: she's the tolerant one."
  • Isabella DeLuca — an activist who was assaulted by Antifa rioters for carrying a Trump flag to a Women’s March protest in Washington, D.C. — wrote, "If you don’t think there is a blatant anti-Christian bias in society, you aren’t paying attention."
  • Radio host Larry Mendte replied that the Taliban "wouldn't even allow a show like The View with all women and may execute them all for not wearing head coverings. Their idiocy has no limits."
  • PragerU personality CJ Pearson said, "The View doesn’t need to be condemned. It needs to be cancelled. Imagine if anyone said this about ANY other religion. Imagine."

Others took some time to school the poor woman:

  • "I invite Patti Lupone to come stay at my house with my wife and kids, break bread with us, and attend our church. Then, I will pay for her to travel to Afghanistan to be a guest of the Taliban to understand the difference," one commenter said. "She may want to purchase life insurance before that trip."
  • "Who wants to educate Patti LuPone as to the horrors perpetrated on women by the Taliban?" another user asked. "She is woefully ignorant on the subject."
  • "So Miss Patti, where did these Christian right executions take place?" another commenter wondered. "Riiiiiiight, they didn't. Dips**t."
  • "How about she spend a week with the local Presbyterian church… and then a week with the Taliban," another user suggested. "That ought to straighten things out for her. What a moron."

Anything else?

LuPone is no stranger to big-mouth disease.

In 2019 she faced criticism after attacking Republican U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, saying that he's gay and suggesting that he "come out."

About a year ago the Broadway actress went on a foul-mouthed rant against an audience member during a post-show Q&A session because the individual wasn't wearing a mask properly.

“Put your mask over your nose! That’s why you’re in the theater! That is the rule! If you don’t want to follow the rule, get the f*** out!” LuPone screamed. The woke, doting crowd loved it.
