Lisa Marie Presley was on opioids, lost 40 to 50 pounds before death: report

Lisa Marie Presley — the late daughter of King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley — had reportedly been using opioids and weight loss medication prior to her tragic death earlier this month, it was revealed on Monday.

The 54-year-old Presley, who had battled addiction for years, was “taking opioids again” and suffering through an “extreme weight loss regimen” in order to “look her best” on the red carpet,  sources close to the family told TMZ

Lisa Marie had been promoting Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” movie along with leading actor Austin Butler, who has been nominated for an Oscar.

The singer-songwriter allegedly underwent plastic surgery and took weight-loss pills that resulted in a loss of “40 to 50 pounds”  just two months before she walked her final red carpet at the 2023 Golden Globes.

Also on Monday, it was reported that Lisa Marie was millions of dollars in debt at the end of her life

She allegedly cashed out two life insurance policies and intended to take out a third to pay off her $4 million debt, according to TMZ.

Lisa Marie was believed to have one policy for $25 million and another for $10 million, with family sources telling the outlet that a third may have been valued at $10 million.

The only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley reportedly filled out paperwork to receive a lump sum of $2 million, but the policy was never cashed in because of a paperwork screwup, TMZ reported.

Of the $4 million debt she had accrued, at least half of it was meant for the IRS.

Lisa Marie allegedly blew through her $100 million fortune throughout the course of her troubled life.

After Lisa Marie’s debts are paid, the remaining fortune will be divided among daughter Riley Keough and twins Finley and Harper Lockwood.

However, the 77-year-old Priscilla Presley — Lisa Marie’s mother — has contested “the authenticity and validity” of her late daughter’s will, which ousted Priscilla as a beneficiary in 2016.

Priscilla filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, challenging a “purported 2016 amendment” to the will.

The amendment allegedly removed Lisa Marie’s former business manager, Barry Siegel, along with Priscilla from the trust, leaving Riley the sole trustee after her brother died by suicide in 2020.

A source told The Post, however, that Priscilla contesting Lisa Marie Presley’s will is “strictly a money grab.”

“She had no relationship with Priscilla, [her ex-husband] Michael Lockwood or her half-brother [Navarone Garibaldi],” according to the source.

Lockwood had an acrimonious divorce from Lisa Marie and was not invited to his ex-wife’s memorial — despite attending anyway.
