WATCH: Joe Rogan says Democrats are ‘making Republicans’ amid a silent ‘red wave’

.

Podcast host Joe Rogan said a ‘red wave’ is coming, noting he expects voters — regardless of their registered party — to turn out for Republican candidates and conservative policies.

During his Joe Rogan Experience podcast over the weekend, Rogan noted that Democrats and their liberal policies are “making Republicans” for the midterm elections.

“There are a lot of people that are afraid of talking about it, but they’re not afraid of voting about it,” Rogan said. “Because there’s a lot of people that are afraid of the reprisal. They’re afraid of getting attacked, and they’ll silently, when they’re amongst friends, go ‘What the f*** is going on? Like, what is going on?’ And those people — that’s going to be responsible for the red wave.”

“People are just like, ‘What the f*** are you saying?'” Rogan added, referencing Democrats’ policies and campaign talking points leading up to the midterm elections. “They’re making Republicans.”

To Rogan’s point, guest Bridget Phetasy explained that her die-hard liberal and Democratic relatives are voting Republican.

“Like, how did you lose this person?” Phetasy asked. “This is a go to the ballot and vote blue no matter what, and you’ve lost even the Boomers.”

Rogan noted that Democrats are worried about New York flipping to a Republican state, calling that potential “wild.” Phetasy added that Oregon is another state that could end up with a Republican governor for the first time in four decades.

A new CBS News/YouGov poll showed an 18-point swing toward Republicans among independent voters. Republicans lead Democrats among independent voters 49% to 33%, a 16-point advantage, in the poll conducted from Oct. 26-28.
