Liberals on Twitter lose it over Tim Allen post mocking Joe Biden on ‘60 Minutes’

Tim Allen might be known for his long career in comedy, but his latest joke seems to be a flop on woke social media.

On Monday, Allen tweeted after President Biden appeared on the CBS show “60 Minutes.”

“Biden was on 60 minutes. I heard he asked how long the show was,” he cracked.

Reps for Allen declined to comment to The Post.

Allen, 69, quickly went viral, with many keyboard worriers of Twitter “clutching their pearls” at his taunt.

“I think the funniest thing Tim Allen has done in the last 20 years is assume that he’s still in any way relevant,” one user quipped.

“Tim Allen said he was famous. I heard everyone ask what decade that was,” another wrote, mocking the conservative-leaning “Home Improvement” actor.

“And this, kids, is why Tim Allen isn’t the voice of Buzz Lightyear anymore,” one person said, referencing Allen being replaced by Chris Evans for the voice of Buzz in the 2022 movie “Lightyear.”

Ad writer Cliff Schecter also used the recent “Lightyear” movie to take his shot at Allen, tweeting: “145 minutes. That’s how long the new Buzz Lightyear movie was. Perhaps you’ve seen it?”

“Don’t you hate it when your drug dealer gets political? just drop the stuff off and leave man,” Bleacher Report writer Tyler Conway responded, referencing Allen’s two-and-a-half-year stint in federal prison after pleading guilty to drug-trafficking charges.

“This passes for comedy in TrumpWorld,” a user tweeted.

Others came to Allen’s defense, with a former Republican House candidate in Virginia saying he will always be her “favorite comedian.”

“Imagine not being able to laugh at a joke. Y’all in the comments have serious issues,” another person said.

“Really?… twitter is trying to cancel sitcom dad, Tim Allen, for telling a dad joke?… buttery soft,” another wrote.

The “Santa Clause” actor hasn’t yet acknowledged the controversy.
