Derek Jeter’s Florida mansion that Tom Brady rented to be demolished

The Florida mansion formerly owned by Yankees legend Derek Jeter for nearly 10 years is expected to be demolished, The Post can confirm.

Located in Tampa, it’s also the home that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen rented from Jeter in 2020 during Brady’s first year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Records filed in the last week show a demolition application for commercial purposes has been submitted. However, according to local news outlet 10 Tampa Bay, the application has not been completed.

If granted, the permit would bring to an end to one of Tampa’s most expensive pieces of real estate. Jeter sold the seven-bedroom, 16-bathroom estate for $22.5 million in May 2021 — marking the most expensive home ever sold in the area.

Spanning a whopping 22,000 square feet, the property boasts 345 feet of water views.

Brady was eventually forced to leave due to the lack of privacy.

“I forgot people could drive up to your house. Here they can pull right up to the back of the house,” the quarterback admitted in a 2020 interview with Howard Stern. “Derek did a pretty good job of screening it. I am a little bit of an introvert. I feel like my house is my place. I can relax … in the backyard, there’s a lot of boats that have pulled up and people at the front.”

Situated on 1.25 acres, luxe amenities in the home include a wine cellar, a movie theater, a gym, an in-law suite, an au-pair wing and an air-conditioned six-car garage.

Exterior amenities include 9,000 square feet of covered porches and balconies, a dock with two boat lifts, a heated spa and an 80-foot saltwater lap pool.

Built in 2011, Jeter purchased the home a year later for $15.5 million, records show.

The current owner is listed under a trust. It’s unclear what exactly plans are after the home is torn down. The Post has reached out for comment.
